12/01/06 - Patrick stopped by to use our men's room after driving down from Cape Coral on his way to Naples. (Don't worry - it was only #1). On his way out he saw this Big Dog Motorcycle in our showroom and had to have it! Patrick is a previous customer of ours. He's already purchased a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and a 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider (which he still has both). Now this is his 3rd purchase from us in a year! 11/29/06 - When Chris called us and asked if it was anyway possible to purchase this car and have it delivered within 7 days in Augusta, GA - we told him "No but you can have it in 5 days" We did it! Chris in Augusta Georgia purchased this Lamborghini Murcielago over the phone and shipped it up to Georgia. Chris traded in a 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider and we know he will love this car. I was at a local Porsche car show in Crawfordville Saturday at GK Restorations and taken some pictures. In the picture there are some very rare automobiles in it. Right behind me and my car there is a Porsche Carrera 2. Behind that is the rarest Porsche ever built. It is a 1953 Porsche American Roadster steel body there was only one of these ever built. Behind that is a 1925 Austro-Daimler which was designed by Ferdinand Porsche in 1921. There was even a 1932 Auburn Boat Tail there. It is amazing what you will see in this 3 stop light REDNECK county of Wakulla and now there is one Lotus Elise cruising around. In the picture behind me to the left is Ziggy. He was a Porsche engine builder in the 50's at the factory. The owner of GK Restorations flew him into town just to build a very rare 4 Cam Porsche engine for him. I had to make a special bearing for this engine last week. I own a CNC machine shop and sometimes I make parts for these rare cars because Gary can't get them anywhere. I did the machine work on the engine in the American Roadster and brought it back to life also. With all these rare cars and Porsches there, my Lotus Elise seemed to be the center of attention. I just want to thank everyone at Naples Motorsports for a smooth transaction on the purchase.
