I received the car this afternoon. It is amazing.... as always the people that you question the most about a deal never turn out to be the ones to worry about.... The car far exceeded my expectations. I am very particular about things and the car is 150% better than I could have imagined. If fact, the car is better than new... the 3m tape job is unbelievable. Did you get the Lambo yet? I received confirmation via e-mail that Oregon DMV received all the paperwork and I should have it back shortly. I will be racing at Daytona in November. My friends and I have a slue of cars that will be participating including a Porsche 962, two Riley Scott WCS car's and my Lola B2k/10 prototype. .. My name is Kenston, I am a business owner out of North Carolina and I have been searching for a Ferrari 360 spider for a few years. However, time in and time out, I have not found a dealer with integrity and commitment to stand behind what they say and represent in a car of this magnitude. Then one Friday evening, I am bored in a hotel room in Texas, I call the number listed on the internet to Naples Motorsports. 03/01/07 - Charles just came in from Albuquerque New Mexico on this Acura NSX. After he saw it in person he knew it was the car for him. Charles drove it back to New Mexico from Florida. Here is what he had to say:
Rob-I just wanted to write and let you know that the NSX (and me) made it home to Albuquerque fine with nary a problem, except for one tiny rock chip on the hood. The painter's tape I got from Home Depot did the trick in protecting the vulnerable areas of the car, and the beautiful weather made the long drive tolerable. Although I don't think that I have every been clocked by police that many times in a single day ever! Luckily, I fought the law and won, and made it home without any tickets. A friend of mine (and fellow NSXer) got into the service manual with me yesterday, and we fixed the trunk light problem. As it turns out, the keyless entry system wasn't working either (I didn't check it in Florida) and the wiring diagram led us to the keyless entry box underneath the glove box. As it turns out, the wiring harness had come partially undone, so I plugged it back in and everything works! I also looked into the sales tax here in NM, and you were definitely right about it being 3%. My apologies on that, and I truly wasn't trying to pull the wool over your eyes to get a better deal. Anyways, I'm using the "leftover" money to get the clear bra redone. Driving through New Mexico reinforced my need for some protection, because there were more rocks bouncing off of the car in the 200 miles of New Mexico roads than the rest of the trip combined. Well, I really appreciate you working with me on this and making the purchase process very simple and streamlined. In the future when I'm looking to upgrade to an F-car or a Lambo, I will be looking your direction before I go anywhere else. Honesty is very important to me, and my beautiful NSX was definitely "as advertised."
